The elegance of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort is unmatched, you’re greeted by the Victorian theming of turn-of-the-century Florida at every turn.
With many dining options from quick-service stops up to the award-winning Victoria & Albert’s, the Grand Floridian Café lands right in the middle. With a nice menu, attentive wait staff and just enough “fancy” to impress without requiring a jacket for dinner.
We sampled a few items including the French Onion Soup, the Heirloom Apple Salad, and the Fried Mozzarella. For the main course, the Meat Loaf was delicious, but I’ll admit that it wasn’t the prettiest presentation when it came to the table. It tasted better than it looked!
Next time, I definitely want to add the Scallop Skewer as one of the “enhancements” after seeing it go by our table.
If you’re looking for Florida-style casual tucked away in a grand setting, you may want to look into the Grand Floridian Café. For breakfast, if you like to include seafood, even a nice chilled shrimp cocktail to start breakfast then definitely start your day here!
