Fine Dining, Unexpected

When it comes to fine dining at Walt Disney World, with a nice steak or seafood, many guests immediately think of Yachtsman Steakhouse or Le Cellier. To be honest, I can’t disagree.

However, I’d like to add another option to your list. On our last visit, my wife and I made our first visit to Ale & Compass which is just off the lobby at the Yacht Club Resort. We were pleasantly surprised with the elegant décor, excellent service and the delicious food. Add to all of that, reservations were available same-day!

Even if you’re in the mood for some lighter fare like a flatbread or a salad, Ale & Compass doesn’t disappoint, but if you would like a full steak, seafood or pasta dinner, they definitely deliver.

When I visit a restaurant for the second time, I like to branch out and try something new, but there’s no way that I won’t repeat the Parker House Rolls as my starter. Delicious! You’re going to get 5 freshly-baked rolls with three spreads including Bacon Jam, Pub Cheese, and Citrus Butter.

Added bonus, if your children like to be a bit more adventurous then this is a must-do with Kid’s Menu options like sustainable fish, a kid’s shrimp-and-clam bake, a turkey bowl or a small steak and their own garden salad or chicken noodle soup.
