Sailing From The City That Never Sleeps

New York is a wonderful city, full of bustling activity, culture, food and entertainment…but it may not be a city that you think of when you’re considering a cruise.

Not only does Disney Cruise Line sail out of New York City, it’s a great opportunity to see the city before continuing all of that bustling activity, culture, excellent food and world-class entertainment on board the Disney Magic!

The port of New York is on the west side of Manhattan and offers a beautiful view of the city when you’re boarding and an even more breath-taking view of the skyline passing by as you sail away into the fall evening, passing by one of the most inspirational symbols of America, the Statue Of Liberty.

There are great options in September, October, and November with a variety of itineraries. The last time that I sailed from NYC, it was to head north to Canada but you may opt to head over to Bermuda where you’ll spend multiple days in port on Bermuda. That gives you a wonderful ‘home base’ on the ship while you can take several days to explore the island and have some wonderful Port Adventures as well.

What about heading further south? There are itineraries that visit both the Bahamas and the Caribbean and can work in a stop at Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay as well as a day at Walt Disney World!!

And even further south? The Disney Magic is going to be doing some sailings from Puerto Rico so why not jump on as she sails from New York to San Juan with a stop in Antigua along the way?

The pricing is great, fall is a wonderful time to experience the Magic of a Disney Cruise…let’s start planning your Once Upon A Vacation today!
