Ever wonder what the geosphere (what you may think is a golf ball) at Epcot is made of? What about where the VIP’s hang out when they need a break from the park but don’t want to go all the way back to their resort? And exactly how many people have worn or touched these 3D glasses I’m putting on my face? How do Cast Members (Disney employees) get ready for their day? Or better yet, how does a Disney princess prepare for her day? You can learn the answers to all of these and more, plus see it all in person on “The unDISCOVERed Future World” tour at Epcot.
There is so much more than what meets the eye when you are walking around Epcot. This tour takes you behind the scenes into areas that you didn’t even notice when walking around the park. After learning the history of Walt’s vision for EPCOT, you are able to tour several VIP lounges right in the middle of the park. Then you are given access to backstage where you are able to see how the Cast Members get ready to start the day. You are even taken by the dressing rooms for the princesses.
Tours start at $69 per adult and you must be at least 16 years of age. This is a walking tour so be sure to wear comfortable shoes. Tour participants will also receive a complimentary commemorative pin. (Yea, for us pin traders!)
