The buffet on all four Disney Cruise Line ships is called Cabanas. It’s simply the best buffet on the ocean. Some would call that a fact, some would call that my opinion.
It is definitely fact in my book, but then again I’m an expert on my opinion. Sail away on Disney Cruise Line and you’ll probably join the club.
It’s huge, in a two-sided horseshoe shape and the options are almost always the same on both sides. Overwhelming the first time you step in and see how much they offer, but once you realize it’s the same wide variety of both sides, it becomes half as intimidating.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all served at Cabanas and I have to say that lunch is probably my favorite. While breakfast has a huge variety, including custom egg and omelette stations, the lunch variety including sushi, meat carving stations, shrimp and fish is more my style. If you opt out of your assigned time at dinner for your table service, you’ll find some great options at Cabanas too.
The seating is abundant, including both indoor and outdoor. Even at the most popular time, you’re hard-pressed to not find an open table.
When it comes to buffets, cafeteria style, carrying your own tray, most of us assume the food is going to be “only satisfactory”. In reality, Disney keeps up with its brand of providing excellent service and food at Cabanas.
Enjoy, take your time, go back for seconds…a few times, and relax. You’re on vacation!!
