One of the most asked questions I am asked by clients is, “Is the memory maker worth it?”
Memory Maker includes:
- Unlimited digital downloads of all your Disney PhotoPass photos and videos
- Select Attraction photos and videos
- Select Character dining photos
- Discounts on prints of your photos
- Magic Shots – featuring Disney Characters and more, added to your photos
- Digital borders and stickers to personalize your photos
If purchased before your vacation, it is $169. Photos taken 3 days within purchase will not be included, so be sure to add it a week prior to your vacation. If purchased during or after your vacation, the cost is $199.
I personally LOVE Memory Maker. I purchased it the first few times I went to Walt Disney World and I am very happy I did. The photos are professional, the Magic Shots are priceless, and it’s fun to add borders and stickers. The photographers are also great at taking candid shots with characters, which I adore. If you have children, this is a special occasion and you plan on standing in photo or character lines a lot – I highly recommend it. I also love the fact they also include photos from select attractions. It is usually the ones you want that cost $20 or so if you purchased them straight from the attraction.
If you don’t plan on meeting characters or taking random park photos – then maybe it isn’t for you. Now that I have been blessed to go to WDW often, I don’t take advantage of the photo opportunities as much as I used to. So now, it isn’t worth it to me if I am not taking enough photos to justify the purchase. You are still able to view them and if you see a few that are wonderful – you are still able to purchase them individually for approximately $15/photo.
All Memory Maker purchases give you the rights to the photo/s. You can download and print however you want. You have 30 days after your trip to decide on your purchases before the photos disappear.
If this is your first visit to Walt Disney World – GET IT! There is no question about it.
