Universal Sweet Tooth Must-Visit

A savory meal, the most appealing sweet treats you’ve seen, and a “steam punk” feel inside is what you can expect at the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen, located at Universal City Walk at Universal Orlando Resort.

There is no doubt the food is good but what we’re really there for is the dessert. The towering milkshakes with combinations and goodies that have probably only been in your dreams. At Toothsome, they turn into a reality.

When you put your name in, you’ll be in the gift shop. You’ve been warned. There is a fair amount of merchandise, but the majority of what you’ll encounter are treats, candies, and hundreds of unique sweet options. If you’ve got kids in your party (or adults with a super sweet tooth) and you don’t want to fight the urge to buy one of everything in sight, maybe just one of you should go in to check in at the hostess stand! Don’t worry, you’ll exit through the gift shop too…and you can stock up then.

The visible dessert kitchen on the way into the dining room is the perfect place for a selfie. It will also make the decision harder about what to order when the meal is over.

The steampunk theming is creative and immersive. Even if you’re not a fan of the classic steampunk, read the story that starts with a dirigible landing in the front yard to find out the history of the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium. You just might truly feel like you’re part of the story and the adventure.

Opinion: The best non-dessert item on the menu is the Roasted Brussel Sprouts.

Tip: The look and feel is more fun and immersive at night rather than the daytime. Consider visiting at sunset or later.
