When you’re headed to Walt Disney World, need a place to stay on-property at a great value and have younger sports fans in your family, All-Star Sports may be for you.
If you’re looking for all of the amenities of a spa, water slide, and more dining options than a food court, this probably isn’t the choice for you. However when you’re looking for a clean affordable room with a bright and fun feel, take another
look at All-Star Sports!
Featuring two double beds in each room, it’s a great fit for families with 1 child or 2 younger children. The theming is bright and sporty (literally) and the overall story of the resort encourages play and activity while you’re at the resort. The football field is actual turf and you’re hard-pressed to find a time where kids aren’t running and playing. Bigger than life foosball? You’ll find that available too, along with more than one pool definitely which gives the kids something to do if mom or dad need a few extra minutes to get ready or need to do just a little bit of work before hitting the parks for the day.
The food court is recently refurbished and has 5 stations with a variety of selections. While all 5 options may not be open at off-peak times of the day, just know that the Cuban sandwich and the hot dogs are bigger than you’ll find at most restaurants in your hometown!
Bus transportation is available at the front of the resort to all 4 parks, both water parks, and to Disney Springs. At times, you may share a bus with the other All-Star Resorts, but most of the time you’ll find direct transportation to and from your preferred Walt Disney World destination. I also love that they’ve upgraded to the transportation timing, so you can easily look at the monitor at the bus stop to see when the next bus is going to pull up.
